1888 - 1988:  Four Generations of the Fox family lived at the property at which time running water, bathrooms, electricity, central heat and the gardens were added.

1988 - 2000:  The White family purchased the property from the Harry David Fox estate, opening and operating a Bed & Breakfast starting in January of 1989.

2000:  The Orr family purchased the Inn in January of 2000.  They have furnished the Mansion with period furniture and renovated the rooms to accommodate the 21st century travel while still maintaining the integrity of the Mansions beauty.

1820 - 1858:  During 1820 and 1821 William Morris Oliver built the house know as The Fox Inn.  He was the first Judge of Yates County, a N.Y.S. Senator, Leut. Governor, a U.S. Congressman, founder and President of Yates County Bank.

1858 - 1888:  The Fox Inn was owned by George R. Youngs, founder of Penn Yan Boats.
